Rob Mullins, Bob Reiche, and Burke Pfeiffer established Premium Hardwoods in 1994. Rob came from the hardwood flooring industry, while Bob and Burke came from the cabinet manufacturing industry. Together, they combined both businesses and created Premium Hardwoods Inc and Pfeiffer Custom Furnishings Inc.
In the fall of 2004, we moved into our current building at 3025 Lapeer Rd. in Auburn Hills, with a new 11,000 square foot building. This facility has a 1,500 square foot showroom and a warehouse filled with inventory.
Balancing the values of a family-operated business with the expertise of a high-end retailer, we have built an amazing legacy and continue to do so today. As we enter our 26th year of operation, Premium Hardwoods and Pfeiffer Custom Furnishings are excited to announce that as of October 2019, we are under new ownership.
Bob Cipriano and his wife, Shannon, are the new owners of both Premium Hardwoods and Pfeiffer Custom Furnishings and will continue to carry on the long-standing ideals and values of the company. Bob, who has worked for both businesses in many different capacities over the last 17 years, learned the intricacies of the flooring business and custom wood working industry from the original owners.
